J&K Marine was founded in 1992, and we’re proud to have continually grown to serve our boating communities for 30 years now! We are a family owned, community minded, award-winning, marine dealership. When you purchase a boat from J&K Marine, we will be the only resource you’ll ever need.
As a full-service Marine Dealership, we offer seven locations; Sales, Service, Parts, Rentals, Dock & Lift, Indoor Storage, and Financing. We’re at your service seven days a week during boating season providing sales, parts & service, rentals, and afterhours urgent marine service.
Shop in comfort at our large indoor showrooms in Detroit Lakes, Walker & West Fargo. Our finance department is also in West Fargo. The J&K Marina on Little Detroit Lake is open daily all summer offering boat rentals, gas, soda, ice and off-lake wave runner rentals. Cormorant, Vergas, and Ottertail all offer sales, service, dock & lift, rentals, and storage.

Alumacraft fishing boats are built in Minnesota with passion and precision. Vexus fishing boats offer both fiberglass and glass infused aluminum that’ll knock the wind out of the water. Smokercraft fishing boats with their attention to detail round out our fishing boat brands.
Starcraft pontoons and recreation boats offer 60 years of fiberglass boat building excellence & offer value and variety to our line-up. For custom-built boats we strongly encourage customers to order in the fall to ensure spring delivery of all our brands.
Our inventory of used boats have each passed our 25-point trade check inspection. You’ll drive away your water-ready used boat with a 30-day warranty. Browse our website often for new arrivals. If you have a used boat less than eight years old and you’re looking to sell it, please see our ‘We But Boats’ page. We also offer consignment sales to boat owners looking to sell their used boat.
The J&K Marine team of Service Techs is the best in the region. They’re certified for Mercury, Mercruiser, Mercury Sport Jet, Yamaha, Suzuki, Johnson, Evinrude, and Volvo marine engines. Our Detroit Lakes Parts Department is second to none, if we don’t stock it, we’ll find it. We also sell, service and deliver Beach King docks & lifts. We have displays in our showrooms in Detroit Lakes, West Fargo and Walker.
J&K Marine proudly serves Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota & beyond. We’re in range of Grand Forks, Jamestown, and Valley City ND; Alexandria, Bemidji, and Wahpeton MN; and in SD Aberdeen and Sioux Falls.
